Last Raps Baseball will be hosting two weeks of baseball camps during the 2019 Spring Breaks. The first camp will be four days in length and will be for those who are aged 8 to 14 years old. The second camp will be for those who are aged 13 to 15 years old and will run over six days. The first four days of the camp will serve as a training camp and will be Monday to Thursday. The final two days of the camp will be consist of two double headers against a club who will be visiting us from Edmonton, Alberta.
Week 1 –
Last Raps Baseball is pleased to announce that the first camp we will be joined by Orv Franchuk. Franchuk spent nearly 30 years in professional baseball as a coach with the highlight of his career being the hitting coordinator for the Boston Red Sox during their first World Series championship in 2007.
This camp is 4 days in length. The camp is located in North Vancouver, BC and will run Monday through Thursday. This camp is a a rain or shine event and campers need to bring appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. Campers need to dress appropriately for baseball. Shorts at this time of the year is not appropriate attire for baseball participation.
Week 2 –
Last Raps Baseball is pleased to announce that the second camp we will be joined by Eric Fox. Fox spent 12 seasons in professional baseball with parts of four years at the major league level. The majority of his career, Fox spent time in the Oakland A’s organization, however he also spent time in Seattle, Texas, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Primarily an outfielder, Fox used his speed to get around the base paths and that helped him play stellar defence.
This camp is 6 days in length. The camp is located in North Vancouver, BC and will run Monday through Thursday. However, Friday and Saturday will include a double header each day versus the team visiting us from Alberta. More details will be provided as the dates get closer. This camp will be capped at 16 registrations but may change to 20 depending on positional needs.
