2025 Summer Camps

Summer Camp season is fast approaching, and in 2025 Last Raps Baseball will celebrate its 16th year of operating summer day camps in the West Side of Vancouver and on the North Shore. These camps will have limited space for registration and will be operated in the months of July and August. Detailed information about these camps can be found below, and on the frequently asked questions page of our website.

Structure

These camps will feature a number of different skill stations where young ball players will rotate through these stations receiving various skill specific instruction from coaches and players. Skill stations will include but are not restricted to, base running, throwing, hitting, infield, pitching, outfield etc. Depending on the number of participants in the camp, the afternoon portion of the camp will feature some form of controlled scrimmage or game. Campers will be classified first by age and then grouped by ability. Though all skill level and abilities of players are welcomed, we strongly suggest that your young ball player is interested in the sport of baseball as this is not a day care style camp.

Weather

In the event of inclement weather, where camps are Monday to Thursday, Friday is reserved as a rain date. The decision to defer or cancel a day because of inclement weather will be made by 9:00am on the day of the event. For the current information, follow us on Twitter for camp updates. If rain is in the forecast early in the day, but it is expected to clear through the day, it is likely that the camp will continue to run that day. You will be notified in the event of cancellation. In the two weeks where Monday is a holiday, there will not be a rain date for the camp.

Clothing

Players will need to bring their own gloves, batting helmets, bats, baseball shoes, (batting gloves if they so choose) and a lunch. Those who attend need to be appropriately outfitted for baseball activities. If players do not have baseball pants, track pants and sweat pants are acceptable. Short pants are Not acceptable baseball attire for those playing the sport.

Last Raps Baseball will not supply water re-fills for the participants, so parks that may not have access to public water, it is recommended that you bring ample fluids to properly stay hydrated.
